The emotions of the NHL trade deadline are unparalleled to any other during a season. Fans are desperate to see their team go all in or keep an eye on what the national pundits are saying, but for the players, they’re just trying to get through another day.

This trade deadline - Fri., March 7 at 2 p.m. CT - can paint an image of how this season has gone so far for the Nashville Predators as sellers.

“We’ve put ourselves in this position, unfortunately,” head coach Andrew Brunette said. “Nobody feels sorry for the Nashville Predators. We have guys with an opportunity to go and prove themselves in this league and hopefully solidify a position for next year. I think that’s how we’re looking at it.”
